Emma Loves Life
Losing weight is the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. Never have I felt so successful yet so much like a failure on a daily basis.

This is probably the truest thing I’ve ever read. It basically sums up my relationship with weight-loss.

Had a galaxy ripple today. So on MFP I search ripple. It comes up raspberry ripple ice cream and in brackets my name.

How does MFP know that’s my favourite ice cream? Haha. There is an Emma in the world who also has gid taste.

Really want some now though :(

My mum comes home tomorrow.

She has been away since the 7th May. So I’m about to get my comfies on and make the house look SPIFFING.

Also, cannot wait to see Shadow. I miss my wee dug so much. We are rescuing another Staffie bitch on Sunday named Tia so I’ll soon have two wee dugs to walk! Can’t wait!!!

My Big Fat Fetish

Honestly, what is this? My mind is boggled

Channel 4 do the weirdest/funniest documentaries.

Biggest Loser

I get so fricking emotional when I’m watching it. Choked up at every person weighing in!

What a gid day!

Summer :)

Just had a nice prawn salad for my lunch. I want to move my desk outside and enjoy a twister lolly…

Also Zara, Soph and me are in talks of going to Fuerteventura. So while I was in Asda getting my salad, I was distracted by the words SUMMER and NEW and bought a summery tube skirt and a cute 2 pack bikini. Woot!

I bought them in smaller sizes too.

Circuit Training Class

Finally getting my finger oot my bum and writing about Tuesday’s gym sesh!

I was in the gym, I done 5 minutes on the elliptical, stretches and just started my sit ups. Then David (one of the fitness instructor folk) came in and asked me if I wanted to join a circuit training class. I accepted.

We picked up our weights and done a warm up. Which was running backwards and forwards with weights at your sides. I am going to bullet point the rest cause it’s almost a week later and I can’t remember the order…

Push Ups
Crunches
Reverse Crunches
Oblique Crunches
Flat Chest Flyes
Shoulder Presses
Front Raises
Upright Rows
Bicep Curls
Tricep Kickbacks (Standing)
Squats
Lunges
Burpees (I managed ONE!)

All of that varied between 15-45 seconds and then the running backwards and forwards… My calf muscles were agony but I kept going. My face was bright red and I had sweaty eyebrows. I was proud I lasted to the end :D

Total burn; 697 calories!

I am going to attempt to write a descriptive post about my gym session on Tuesday…

OH. MY. GOD.

Moist, Low-Calorie Microwave Protein Fudge Muffins
Ingredients:
2 Egg whites (**If using liquid egg whites use 1/2 cup and add 20 calories)
1/4 cup pumpkin (3 T applesauce or other starchy carb works well too!)
2 T coconut flour* (1 T also works, and results in 40 fewer calories)
1/2 tsp baking powder
stevia or other granular sweetener to taste
1 T. cocoa powder (Hershey’s Special dark cocoa is best!)
Directions:Spray a soup bowl with a very light layer of oil to prevent sticking (not even necessary but makes cleaning up a bit easier). Mix ingredients well with fork, whisk or spatula. Microwave for 2:30-4+ min on High (depends on your microwave, altitude and the whim of the cupcake gods.)

Makes one HUGE serving.  155 calories **; 12 g protein; 16.5g carb; 4.5g fiber; 1.75g fat  Stellar stats.

My stomach muscles ache from slight movements.

I was a crunch queen last night!
